BCA announces annual art show winners

Winners on hand for an awards ceremony by the Brewton Arts Council in honor of winning art entries.

The Brewton Council of the Arts recently held an art show at the YMCA and the Brewton Public Library, showcasing the work of students in grades K-12 from schools throughout Escambia County.
Area artists judged the work and chose winners in each category. A reception was held to recognize the winners and award prizes.
Winners were:
Kindergarten— Amonte Bryant, Bentley Easterling, Emma Holland, Mills Marshall and Emerie Riggs
First & Second grade—Nellie Ball, Colt Calloway, Sarah Chen, Hartlee Cooper and Owen Marshall
Third & Fourth grade—Jeb Ball, Rilee Benton, Warren Fletcher, Alivia Hunter, Chloe Rexroat & Dravon Smith
Fifth & Sixth grade—2D work: Kearden Frye, Aryanna Jones, Rex Prehn, Harmony Riley, Rachel Woodham;
3D work: Yelena Mathews, Karsyn Wilson, Rachel Woodham
Seventh & Eighth grade—2D work: Emma Hollington, Elise Horton, Aamirica Kelly, Logan Kendrick, Reshyla Russell;
3D work: Miley Holt, Isaac McInnish, Kinndrah Pavek
Ninth &Tenth grade—2D work: Morgan Bassett, Kylie Cozart, Audrey Hall, Abigail Owens, Azariah Spears;
3D work: Morgan Bassett, Sa’vior Odom & Destiny Thompson
Eleventh & Twelfth grade—2D work/Diamond Bradley, Kaylea Land, Za’Riyah Lane, Melanie Martinez, Neat Woodham;
