D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital announced that Amanda Quick, RN has been selected as the Operating Room Nurse Manager.
In her new role, she will be responsible for coordi-nating between operating physicians in D.W. McMillan’s Surgical Group and the hospital surgical nursing staff, she will assume the role from Camellia Hall, RN who is retiring.
“We are happy to have Amanda as our new OR nurse manager,” stated Stacy Hines, Hospital Administrator. “Amanda knows our hospital surgeons very well and has been working closely with them and our OR staff for a long time.”
Amanda is a graduate of Jefferson Davis Community College Nursing program. Prior to joining D.W. McMillan, she worked as an RN at Baptist Hospital and Atmore Community Hospital, both in the OR. Amanda has been with D.W. McMillan since 2011 and has been in the OR since she began.
“We are very thankful to Camellia for the 23 years of dedication to D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital,” stated Hines. “We wish her all the best in her retirement.”
