Voices of Mobile to perform Sunday at EB 1st Baptist

Kicking of the holiday with music, the Voices of Mobile will be in concert at the First Baptist Church of East Brewton on Sunday, Nov. 27 beginning at 5 p.m.
The church is located at 1201 Shoffner St. adjacent to Ft. Crawford Cemetery.
The Concert is open to the public and is free to attend.
The Voices of Mobile is made up of students at University of Mobile in Mobile. This highly acclaimed vocal ensemble is now in their 20th year traveling nationally and internationally. They have performed concerts in Cuba, China, The Philippines, Israel, Jordan, France, Germany, England, Romania and across America.
Performing more than 200 concerts per year, the Ministry opportunities have included The Pentagon, Carnegie Hall in New York City, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, The White House, Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Voices of Mobile is a highly versatile, auditioned vocal ensemble which presents concerts every year through regional and international tours. Their highly visible and consistent performing schedule offers students an unparalleled experience.
Voices has shared the stage with people such as Dr. Condoleezza Rice, Tim Tebow, Dr. Ben Carson and President George Bush.
Alumni from this group are currently members of Building 429, Vertical Worship, and Veritas.
Voices is directed by Dr. Roger Breland and by Collin and Hannah Clardy.
Voices’ mission statement is “Honoring Him with our lives and praising Him with our Voices.”
Breland said traveling with the group has been a pleasure over the years.
“I have traveled the world with these amazing students,” Breland said. “They love God and love people. They represent their university, their faith and their music with excellence. You will love their concert. I love their hearts.”
