D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital announced that Jessica Sutton, RN has been selected as the Women and Infants (OB) Nurse Mana-ger. In her new position, she will be responsible for coordinating between our D.W. McMillan Medical Center staff physicians, Dr. James Walker and Dr. Catherine Harrington and the hospital Women and Infants nursing staff.
She will assume the role from Martha Dawn Singleton, CRNP who is retiring from her position as manager.
“We are excited to have Jessica return to D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital and continue her career as our new OB Nurse Manager,” stated Stacy Hines, Hospital Administrator. “Jessica knows our hospital and hospital systems very well and has worked closely with both our physicians and our OB staff for eight years.”
Jessica is a 2014 graduate of Jefferson Davis Community College Nursing program. She joined D.W. McMillan directly after graduation, working on the OB Hall and Labor and Delivery.
“We are very thankful to Martha Dawn for over 45 years of dedication to D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in the OB Department,” stated Hines. “She will continue to help in the Nursery as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. She will also work with our staff and physicians to ensure the best possible patient experience.”
