Chapman named hospitalist for DWM

D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital announced that Pride “Bo” Chapman IV, M.D., Board Certified Internal Medicine physician has joined the medical staff of D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital (DWM) as a Hospitalist. He will begin seeing patients immediately.
“We welcome Dr. Chapman to the D.W. McMillan staff and look forward to him being part of our Hospitalist Program,” stated Stacy Hines, Hospital Administrator. “In the past, Dr. Scott Moore has served as our primary hospitalist. Dr. Rainer Birk and Dr. Chapman will now split Hospitalist coverage for DWM. Dr. Moore will cover as needed, allowing him to spend more time seeing patients at the Flomaton Medical Center.”
Dr. Chapman completed his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at The University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at The University of Tennessee College of Health Sciences in Nashville.
Upon graduation, Dr. Chapman worked for Heritage Medical Associates in Nashville and Dublin Internal Medicine in Dublin, Ga. In addition, he has worked as a telemedicine provider, medical director and hospitalist. Most recently, he worked for Ascension Sacred Heart in Miramar Beach, Fla. and Internal Medicine Associates in Opelika, Ala. at East Alabama Medical Center, both as a Hospitalist.
Dr. Chapman and wife, Lisa have four children. He enjoys coaching gymnastics and rooting for the Auburn Tigers.
