Clark named VP/GM at Georgia-Pacific

A new leader is in place at the Brewton mill of Georgia-Pacific.
Jerry Clark recently joined the Georgia-Pacific Brewton mill team as vice president and general manager, replacing Mark Martin, who was promoted.
Clark has held multiple management roles of increasing responsibility in various manufacturing industries including technology and industrial controls and metals, in addition to his 27 years within the paper industry.
His most recent role prior to joining the Brewton team was as senior director of process optimization and reliability at Westrock, a division management position based out of Atlanta,Ga.
“I’m excited to be in Brewton,” Clark said. “The mill has a reputation for strong community support and a talented workforce. I’m looking forward to being part of a team known in the industry as an outstanding performer and plan to build upon the team’s proven track record within GP and its support of the community and region.”
Although a longtime resident of Pensacola, Clark is a Cincinnati, Ohio., native, and earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1990.
