For those who shop at Hainje’s of Brewton, you may see a new leader at the helm — but it won’t be a stranger.
Chasity Jackson, an employee at Hainje’s in Brewton for the past 15 years, has been promoted to store manager.
Jackson will lead the team at the store as they continue to meet the furniture needs of the community.
“I started here in 2008 as a part-time officer worker,” Jackson said. “I’m happy to be moving into this role here.”
Hainje’s President Mark Godwin, said Jackson’s promotion is well-deserved.
“We want to welcome Chasity as our new manager,” Godwin said. “Come in and meet her and she will certainly meet all of your furniture needs.”
Jackson will be leading a team of workers including Martha Watts in the office, and Maurice Curry and Paul Summerlin as they work to assembly and deliver furniture to customers of the store.

Hainje’s has four locations: Brewton, Monroeville, Greenville and Atmore.
