The Bulldogs would have to wait until their second possession to find the end zone. A failed PAT puts the game at a tie, 6-all at the end of one.

The second quarter was another see-saw session for both teams with punts all around. UMS-Wright would end up finding the end zone next putting 7 points on the board.

As the half ended, the Bulldogs led the Tigers 13 to 6.

The Bulldogs get the ball to start the half but end up punting back to the Tigers. The Tigers, not able to get much going, punt back to UMS.

The Tigers hold UMS to a field-goal kick putting 3 more points on the board making it Bulldogs 16, Tigers 6.

The Tigers quickly answered that score with another of there on and a touchdown run. A good two-point conversion puts the Tigers within reach of a win, TRM 14, UMS 16.

A penalty-ridden quarter kept both teams going from good to bad. The Tigers got to within a yard of taking the lead, but a fumble kept that from happening.

As the final buzzer sounded, UMS-Wright kept their lead to defeat the Tigers.

Final score: T.R. Miller Tigers 14, UMS-Wright Bulldogs 16.

The Tigers will travel to Wilcox-Central next Friday for their first regional match-up. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
