Highway 41 Adventures has emerged as a local treasure in Brewton, offering an adrenaline-pumping Halloween experience unlike any other in our quiet community. With its haunted hayride, chilling haunted house, and zombie paintball adventure bus aka “Slayer”.
Highway 41 Adventures is quickly becoming a staple of the spooky season. They cater to a wide audience of thrill-seekers and families alike. What makes this venue even more special is its commitment to the community.
Steven and Sharon Caraway, owners of the attractions, are currently providing employment to over 40 local teens through Halloween season.
For those looking to enjoy a little fright leading up to All Hallows Eve, there are many components of the attraction that will have plenty of appeal to thrill seekers.
• A Journey Through Fear: Haunted Hayride and House: Highway 41 Adventures prides itself on delivering spine-tingling frights at every turn. The haunted hayride takes visitors on a journey through the eerie woods surrounding their 90 acre property, where ghostly apparitions, zombies, and other creatures of the night lurk. As the hay-filled wagon winds its way through the dark woods, passengers are thrust into a world of fear, with unexpected scares and hair-raising encounters. For those who dare to venture even deeper into the realm of horror, the haunted house beckons.
Zombie Paintball Adventure Bus: An Interactive Thrill: For a unique twist on the typical haunted attraction, Highway 41 Adventures introduces the Zombie Paintball Adventure Bus aka “SLAYER”. Here, visitors are armed with paintball guns and tasked with fending off hordes of zombies. The interactive adventure combines the thrill of paintball with the fear of a zombie apocalypse, creating an unforgettable experience.
While Highway 41 Adventures is family-friendly Halloween fun, the venue ensures that visitors of all ages can partake in the festivities. Lawn games and themed refreshments are available to those too timid to venture into the woods. Some nights even feature live musical acts on the lawn.
One of the most heartwarming aspects of Highway 41 Adventures is its role in the community. The farm venue has become a source of employment for over 40 local teenagers, providing them with opportunities to gain valuable work experience and earn income during the Halloween season.
The haunted attraction is only the beginning of what the Caraway’s have planned. Their barn and water front property will soon be available to rent for events and weddings. After hosting their niece’s wedding, earlier this year on property, Steven and Sharon realized that they wanted to open their doors to the entire community. Future plans for the property include the event venue, community concerts, and even more holiday themed events.
