A local venue will be hosting a series of luncheon events beginning Feb. 16 and will continue each Friday at noon through the Lenten season.. The Lenten season officially begins Feb. 14 and will end on March 28, 2024.

The luncheon event will be held at The Holley House on Douglas Avenue in Brewton. The noon services will feature various area pastors speaking each Friday through the season. Lunch of soup, sandwich and drink will be available for $12.

“We want people to come and enjoy community fellowship and hear a different pastor speak for about 20 minutes each Friday as we prepare our hearts for Easter, said Holly Hart Shirley, Holley House organizers/owner. “It will be a time to make new friends, fellowship with your neighbors and hear an uplifting message of hope while enjoying a simple delicious lunch.”
