Saving money is at the front of everyone’s minds these days. One local shop is aiming to help people keep more money in their pockets while being stylish in the process.
Southern Grace Thrift and Gift shop opened on Friday and is fully stocked and ready to serve the community with clothing, hats, purses, shoes, household items and plenty of great gift ideas as well.
Owner Joyce Madewell is running the shop with her daughters, Elizabeth and Savannah. The new shop is located at 1450 South Boulevard near Dollar General.
“We have stocked our shop with some great fashions,” Joyce said. “We will continue to update the inventory as much as possible. We do take donations and we even buy things when possible. A lot of what we have now is inventory that we purchased.”
Along with new and gently used fashions, the shop is also home to a unique gift selection.
“We have more than just clothes,” Joyce said. “We have some great gift idea with new merchandise and we plan to increase that inventory as well. We want to be a shop that offers what people are looking for these days.”
The shop is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
The shop has been active on social media and continues to provide information, sneak peaks at merchandise and will continue to use the platform to announce special events, special hours and more. Find them on Facebook by searching Southern Grace Thrift & Gift.
“At Southern Grace Thrift & Gift, our mission goes beyond just selling goods. We believe in fostering a sense of community and compassion by providing affordable options for everyone, regardless of their budget. We will be supporting local initiatives and families in need through donations and partnerships.”
