A single-vehicle crash at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday claimed the life of a Brewton woman and injured two others.

Johnie Arlene Frazier, 49, was killed when the 2003 Honda Odyssey she was driving left the roadway and overturned.

Frazier, who was not using a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene by Monroe County Coroner Robert Malone.  The two passengers in the Odyssey were transported to Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville for treatment of their injuries.

The preliminary investigation indicates that speed was a factor in the crash that occurred on Monroe County 20 four miles east of Monroeville.
