TRM softball to hold summer play date

The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger softball team will be joined by six other teams Friday, June 15, for a summer play date at the Brewton YMCA Sports Park.
The Lady Tigers, along with Pleasant Home, Hillcrest, Robertsdale, Millry, Kinston, and Daphne will play in the tournament that will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude with the last game starting at 4:20 p.m.
Each team will play four games with T.R. Miller playing Hillcrest at 9 a.m., Pleasant Home at 11:20 a.m., Robertsdale at 2 p.m. and Millry at 4:20 p.m. The Lady Tigers will not play Kinston or Daphne.
Games will be five innings or a one-hour time limit. The 15-run rule and the 10-run rule will be in effect and a coin toss will determine the home team. The concession stand will be open at the park and admission will be $5 and will be good for all day.
All T.R. Miller games will be played on Field D.
Other games on Field D will be Robertsdale and Millry playing at 10:10 a.m. and Millry and Kinston at 12:30 p.m.
At 1:30 p.m., a lunch break and field repair time will be held until games resume at 2 p.m.
At 3:10 p.m. on Field D, Daphne and Hillcrest will play followed by T.R. Miller and Millry in the final game.
On Field A at 9 a.m. Pleasant Home and Daphne will play followed by Hillcrest and Kinston squaring off at 10:10 a.m.
At 11:20 a.m., Daphne and Robertsdale will play followed by Hillcrest and Pleasant Home at 12:30 p.m.
At 2 p.m., Kinston and Daphne will tangle followed by Pleasant Home and Millry at 3:10 p.m.
At 4:20 p.m., Robertsdale and Kinston will play the last game.
