Shaun Maurice Simmons Crutchfield

Mrs. Shaun Maurice Simmons Crutchfield, 48, of Dixon Nursery Road died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Monroeville, and a longtime resident of Brewton. She attended W. S. Neal High School and was a member of East Brewton First Baptist Church. She worked as a manager at Southern Link for four years, a substitute teacher for 15 years and was the clerk and co-owner of the Riverview Quick Stop. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Simmons.
She is survived by her mother, Marvis Simmons of East Brewton; her husband, Greg Crutchfield of Brewton; a son, Heath Crutchfield of Brewton; two daughters, Heather (Timothy) Smith and Hailey Crutchfield, both of Brewton; one sister, Shirley (Ernie) Jerkins; two brothers, Lemond (Cindy) Simmons of Brewton and Ludon (Martha) Simmons of East Brewton; two grandchildren, Shannan O’Neal Smith and Addison Kate Smith.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 4, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
