Production to help collect shoes

The children of First Baptist Church will be doing their part Sunday evening to help those in need of shoes.
As part of the “Soles for Souls” ministry, the production planned for 5 p.m. Sunday will continue the theme with the “Christmas Shoe Tree” presentation.
Nearly 30 children, ranging in age from first through fifth grades, have been rehearsing since early Fall to display their talent and collect shoes.
Shoes may be dropped off until Sunday evening with those not bringing shoes to be given an oportunity to contribute to the cost of shipping the shoes.
Lisa Atkinson and Kim Flores are co-directing the production.
