Elizabeth ‘Sis’ Joyner Davenport

Mrs. Elizabeth “Sis” Joyner Davenport, 73, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native of the Sandcut community in Conecuh County, and a long time resident of East Brewton. She was of the Protestant faith and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Davenport and a grandson, Justin King.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Pete Davenport of East Brewton; a son, Patrick (Sheri) Davenport of Brewton; a daughter, Brenda (John Morgan) Davenport of East Brewton; four grandchildren, Allen (Jessica) Davenport, Erin (Hunter) Hobbs, Tucker Davenport and Kaylie Davenport; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Davenport, Cade Davenport and Herrington Hobbs
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. William Joyner officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
