Donald Ray Franklin

Mr. Donald Ray Franklin, 52, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at his residence on Oil Well Road. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. He was a member of Pleasant Home Holiness Church, and was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Franklin; his grand parents, Bud and Eva Chavers; and a great niece, Jaylyn Franklin.
He is survived by his mother, Nell Franklin of Flomaton; his step-father, Charles Dole of Century, Fla.; two brothers, Michael Franklin of Flomaton, and Bobby (Jacqueline) Franklin of Brewton; a sister, Angie Dole of Flomaton; and a number of other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Home Holiness Church with the Rev. Brian Richburg and the Rev. Gam Graves officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
