Marelle Denise Jackson

Marelle Denise “Nee-Nee” Jackson, 58, passed away Sun., May 7, 2017, in the Brewton hospital.

Funeral services will be held today,, May 10, at 10 a.m., at the Victory Christian Center with Bro. Andy Peavy and Bro. Houston Gill officiating. Interment will follow in Buffington Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lewis Harville, Zach Showers, Jason Bryers, Archie Tanner, Mackie Jackson and Marshall Mason.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackson Showers and Tera Tanner.

She was born in Mobile, and had been a resident of Castleberry since 1974, coming from Daphne.

She was a member of the Castleberry High School Class of 1977, was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, and was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Elouise Hallford; two brothers, W.J. Hallford, and George Hallford; and a sister, Montez Gill.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Donnie Jackson of Castleberry; a son, Braylen Tyler Jackson of Castleberry; sisters, Paula (Jody) Hallford Billingsley of Brewton, and Diane (Marshall) Mason of Pensacola, Fla.; her mother-in-law, Faye Jackson of Brewton; a grandchild, Macy Billingsley; fur baby, Lila; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Jacquelyn Faye Williamson

Brewton

Jacquelyn Faye Williamson, 75, passed away Sun., May 7, 2017, at the Atmore hospital after an extended illness.

Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home today, May 10, from noon until service time.

Funeral services will follow visitation at 1 p.m. today, from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Barrow officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Cemetery.

Members of the Brewton Police Department will serve as pallbearers.

She was born in the Pineview Community and was a life-long resident of the Brewton area. She attended the police academy and served as a dispatcher for the City of Brewton Police Department for a  number of years. She was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Barney Ross Williamson; a daughter, Regina Elizabeth Stricklin, both of Brewton; a step-son, John R.(Maryann) Massie of Ft. Myers, Fla.; a brother, Donald Godwin of McDavid, Fla.; two sisters, Darlene Godwin Nelson, and Annie Lois Lail, both of Jay, Fla.; three grandchildren, Brittany, Michael and Rachel; and two great-grandchildren.
