Mr. Harold Lamar Worrell, 72, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002 at a local hospital. He was a native of Castleberry, was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea and worked as a mechanic for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie C. Worrell of Goodwater; one son, Mike Worrell of Alexander City; one daughter, Pam Jones of Montgomery; his mother, Velma Worrell of Mobile; three brothers, L.C. Worrell of Louisville, Ken., Connie Worrell of Anniston and Joe Worrell of Mobile; four sisters, Louise Jernigan of Pensacola, Dot Travers Arlington of Arlington, Va. and Joan McDonald and Judy Singley, both of Mobile; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 26, at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of Radney's Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Fain officiating. Burial followed at Greenville Cemetery in Goodwater with Radney Funeral Home directing.
