The Brewton Council for the Arts has a 'ticket to ride' and is picking up as many Beatles fans as they can for a trip down memory lane.
Yesterday, a Beatles tribute band, will be the first feature act of the Council of the Art's 2002-03 Performance Series. The fab-four imitators are set to twist and shout with audiences on Thursday, Oct. 3, 7:30 p.m. at the Jefferson Davis Community College Auditorium.
The tribute act has been hailed as the number one Beatles tribute act in the world.
Performing hit songs such as "She Loves You," "Hard Day's Night," and, of course, "Yesterday," the group not only sound like the original Beatles, but are able to capture the mannerisms and habits of the Liverpool lads.
The group is made up of Dan Bellezzo as John Lennon, Davey Justice as Paul McCartney, Monte Mann as George Harrison and Dick Cunico playing drums as Ringo Starr.
The Council for the Arts welcomes everyone to jump aboard the magical mystery tour and relive the classic sounds of the Beatles as performed by Yesterday.
Tickets at the door will be $15 for adults and $8 for children.
Patron family tickets are $100; Patron individual tickets are $50; family tickets are $45; adult tickets are $25 and senior (60 and over) tickets are $20.
Season family passes will be available at the door for $45.
