Local law enforcement officials are seeking two suspects who are believed to be responsible for several burglaries in this area.
Investigators with the Escambia County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday that they are trying to locate a man and a woman they say are linked to burglaries at several homes in rural areas of Escambia and surrounding counties. These officials are looking for assistance from local residents in their search.
The suspects have been identified as Kenneth Baxley and Deborah W. Henderson, both of Georgia.
Baxley, 35, is described as a white male, six feet and three inches tall, 240 pounds and brown hair. Witnesses have told authorities he is wearing a mustache and goatee.
Henderson, 35, is a white female, five feet and four inches tall, 150 pounds and has dark hair.
The suspects were last seen travelling in a white 1997 four-door Honda Accord with South Carolina tag 370NXR.
According to Escambia County Sheriff Tim Hawsey, the couple may be involved in two separate burglaries that occurred in Escambia County, one in August and the other in September. Those burglaries took place at residences on Ridge Road and Bradley Road in eastern Escambia County. Weapons were stolen in both of those burglaries.
In the investigation of those cases, it was determined that the two may be involved.
Hawsey said the two suspects are believed to conduct burglaries of homes during daytime hours.
