Mr. Winston Eugene Croley, 63, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2002 in a local nursing facility. He was a native of Escambia County and had been a resident of Church Hill for the past six months. He was of the Baptist faith and attended the Way of Life Church in Kingsport, Tenn. While in the Flomaton area, he attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Century, Fla..
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Croley of Church Hill; a son, Johnny Croley of Flomaton; two daughters, Karen White of Church Hill and Connie Forbes of Kingsport; two brothers, Edgar Croley of Century and Luther Croley of Castleberry; his in-laws, Mildred Croley of Century and Estelle Croley of Mobile and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Cox officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery at Bratt, Fla. with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Johnny Croley, Adam Johnson, John Van Meter, Chuch Rodgers, Tad Bush, Greg Therrel, Greg Sims, Jay Croley and Timmy Gresham. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Sims, J.B. Jackson, Terry Bush, Ferrel Dreadin and Ricky Croley.
