To the editor:
Our thanks to this newspaper for allowing us this means of getting word out to the community on issues.
We thank our hometown heroes who joined together risking "life and limb" in the storm to make our community blood drive a success. And, there were many.
Thanks to Regions Bank for paying the newly-imposed rent on the Brewton Community Center, Cash Advance America, East Side Florist, Escambia Vault and Monument, Carol Nowling for getting our fliers out, Ludon Simmons and Phillip Day for getting our banners out, James Ewing for getting the facility ready, our wonderful volunteers and most of all our faithful donors. We salute all!
They all subscribe to the fact that - "Together We Can Save a Life."
