Brewton area shoppers will want to get their walking shoes ready. That's because beginning Friday, Nov. 1, they will want to visit as many local merchants as they can in an attempt to win a shopping spree.
On Friday, the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce, along with 20 local businesses, will begin registering shoppers for a $500 shopping spree. Beginning today, shoppers can find entry forms in The Brewton Standard, The Escambia Advertiser and at the chamber office. Those entry forms can be dropped off at any of the 20 participating businesses listed below any time between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31.
Businesses participating in this year's "Shop the Brewton Area Christmas Promotion," are Brewton Dance Studio, Goodwill Store, Just 4 Kids 2, English Realty, Ringsdorf Chiropractic Center, Cannon's Carpets, Treasure Chest, James Brothers Furniture, Weaver's Apparel and Fine Jewelry, The Brewton Standard, Underground
DJ's Record Shop, McMillan Wingate, NDI Cracked Pot/ The Paris Market, Magnolia Superfoods, Bondurant Lumber and Hardware, Brewton Family Eye Care (Dr. Jeff Williams), Garden Gate Florist, The Frame Shop, Brewton Office and School Supply and Communication Connections.
No purchase is necessary to participate in the contest. The winner will be announced following the Chamber's board of directors meeting in January.
