Mr. Narvel James Bell, 89, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002 in a local hospital. He was a native of Escambia County and a long time resident of Repton. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the U.S. Army. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Range Freewill Baptist Church and the Repton Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry Bell of Range and Ernest Bell of Repton; four sisters, Irene Bell of Range, Lorene Jackson of Pensacola, Mae Jones of Foley and Ernestine Ivey of East Brewton and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Rev. John Bland officiating. Burial followed at Range Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
