Mrs. Ida Mae Finklea, 94, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002 at a local hospital. She was a native of Monroeville, a resident of Atmore for many years and a domestic private housekeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Att Finklea and her son, Robert Lee Finklea.
She is survived by two sisters, Inez Williams of Monroeville and Addie Mae Taylor Brown of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, Robert Baldwin of Atmore and one grandson.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 29, from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m. at Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with Dr. A. L. Durant Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Stallworth Cemetery in Atmore with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
