Mrs. Frances Lucille Daniels, 74, died Saturday, March 8, 2003 in Uriah. She was a native of Little River and a resident of Uriah for the past 50 years. She was co-owner of Aubrey "Red" Daniels Store at Mineola and attended Little River Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Ray Phillips.
She is survived by her husband, Aubrey "Red" Daniels on Mineola; her son, Aubrey Daniels of Mineola; her daughter, Brenda Jay of Chrysler; four sisters, Reecie Mims of Mobile, Margaret Schultes of Magnolia Springs, Marie Madison of Eliska and Billie Dean of Monroeville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, March 10, at 10 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Bob McKenzie officiating. Burial followed at Mineola Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Mickie Pumphrey, James Freeman, Tommy Weatherford, Johnny Weatherford, William "Bobo" Jay and Mike Davis.
