Ola Mae Gibson Morris

Mrs. Ola Mae Gibson Morris, 84, of East Brewton died Saturday, March 8, 2003 at a Pensacola hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County and was a retired nurse's aid. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her son, Carl Fuqua.
She is survived by three sons, Charles Fuqua and Thirl Fuqua, both of Mexia and James A. Haveard of Pensacola; two daughters, Frances Meyer of Pearland, Texas and Diane Fuqua of Brewton; a daughter-in-law, Anita Fuqua of D'Iberville, Miss.; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Garrett and Rev. Richard Gibson officiating. Burial followed at Haveard-Fuqua Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
