Mr. James Huett Taylor, 84, died Sunday March 30, 2003 in a Mobile nursing facility after an extended illness. He was a native of Winnsboro, Texas and a lifelong resident of Brewton. He was a retired bridge foreman and was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Margarette Peebles Taylor of Brewton; a son, Bob Taylor of Montgomery; two daughters, Vesta Ard of Alabaster, Ala. and Robbie Smith of Mobile and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 1, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Smith and Rev. Don Crigger officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
