Mrs. Mamie Anthony Weaver, 61, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and long-time resident of Conecuh County. She attended Holly Grove Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Fenlick Weaver of Castleberry; one son, Anthony Weaver of Castleberry; one daughter, Robin Meier of Castleberry; four brothers, John Anthony, Robert Anthony and Bud Anthony, all of Brewton and William Anthony of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Billie Rooney of San Antonio, Texas and Bonnie Hoomes of Pensacola and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at Holly Grove Methodist Church in Castleberry with Rev. Charlie Newman and Rev. Andy Blackmon officiating. Burial followed Holly Grove Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
