Mr. Ernest Harold Steele Sr., 81, died Sunday, May 4, 2003. He was a native of Oak Grove, Fla. and a former resident of Brewton. He was the owner of Steele's Home and Auto Supply (Firestone) in Brewton and also White's Home and Auto Supply in Frisco City. He was an Evinrude Outboard dealer with both the stores.
He is survived by two sons, Ernest Harold "Sonny" Steele Jr. of Andalusia and David Brooks Steele of Monroeville; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Steele Murray of Mobile; two brothers, Lewis Steele of Pensacola and Robert Steele of Bessemer and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 7, at 10 a.m. at East Side Funeral Home in Atmore. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore with Fairhope Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of cremation arrangements.
