Mrs. Geraldine Thomas Franklin, 70, died Sunday, May 4, 2003 in a Pensacola hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Plant City, Fla. and a lifelong resident of Brewton. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired purchasing manager from Jefferson Smurfit Corporation with 32 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Franklin of Brewton; two daughters, Johnnie Clyde Boyd and Gerry Franklin, both of Brewton; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at Green Acres Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Peebles officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
