Mr. William S. West, Jr., 74, died Friday, May 2, 2003 in a Destin hospital. He was a native and long time resident of Brewton before moving to Destin in 1988. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran and former partner/agent of Brewton Insurance and Real Estate.
He is survived by his wife, Flossie West of Destin; four sons, William West, Philip West and Steve West, all of Destin and John West of Brewton and four grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Monday, May 5, at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery with Rev. John Finklea officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
