Mrs. Sallie Lou Booth, 88, died Sunday, May 18, 2003. She was a native of Chumuckla, Fla. and a resident of Stanley Crossroads for most of her life. She was a homemaker, attended Magnolia Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Booth and three sons, Barnett Booth, Ashton Booth and Millard Booth.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Holt of Flomaton and Rena Graham of Moyeville; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 21, at 4 p.m. at Magnolia Baptist Church with Rev. James Crist officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Jack Knowles, Chris Hammonds, Andy Hammonds, Jupe Etheridge, Stan Tharp and Tony Hammonds. Honorary pallbearers will be Beatrice Emmons, Mary Jo Hollinhead, Susie Penton and Margie Overstreet.
