Mrs. Jeannie Horne Singleton, 52, died Friday, June 6, 2003 in Atmore. She was a native and resident of Atmore since 1994. She attended the Atmore Church of the Nazarene and was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Betty Horne.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley E. Singleton of Atmore; her son, Donald Ellis of Atmore; a stepson, Stan Singleton Jr. of Uriah; her daughter, Amanda Pitcher of Pensacola; a step-daughter, JoAnn Singleton of Uriah; a sister, Donna Lynn Horne of Fairhope; nine grandchildren and a nephew.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 9, at 10 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Nora Jacobs officiating. Burial followed at Panola Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Stanley Singleton Sr., Stanley Singleton Jr., Don Ellis Jr, David Pitcher, Mike Ward, Mike Plant and Pete Plant.
