James William "Cuz" Tatum

Mr. James William "Cuz" Tatum, 77, died Friday, July 11, 2003 at a local hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Evergreen and a resident of Escambia County since 1957. He was a retired welder/pipefitter and was a member of Catawba Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Roy Tatum of Kennesaw, Ga.; three step-daughters, Mistee Gruber of Kennesaw, Britny Bowlick of Dallas, Ga. and Holly Kay of Woodstock, Ga.; a brother, Bernie Tatum of Loxley; a sister, Louise Leaird of Saraland; two grandsons; six step-grandchildren and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, at 2 p.m. at Catawba Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Bert Bounds officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
