Dear Editor,
Summer just isn't the same without baseball, and this sumer was filled with great opportunities to see our children and teenagers play with enthusiasm and dedication.
We a WEBJ Radio were so pleased to be able to broadcast many of the All-Star games of the 9 and 10-, 11 and 12-, 13-, 14- and 15-year old tournaments. We were especially proud to bring our listeners the district games of our 13-, 14- and 15-year old teams, in Opp and the 14- and 15- year old Babe Ruth teams as they moved on to Huntsville to play for the state title.
WEBJ wants to thank the businesses who sponsored this year's broadcasts of Brewton and East Brewton Little League and Inter-League Babe Ruth All Star Baseball: Horton's Insurance Agency, Grady Automotive of Brewton, The Medical Center Pharmacy, Williams Memorial Chapel, Escambia Vault and Monument, Escambia Insurance Agency, BankTrust, The First Baptist Church of Brewton, The City of Brewton Gas Department, The Bank of Brewton, Evergreen Medical Center (Hospital), The TRM Athletic Department, The Brewton Medical Center, The WSN Quaterback Club, D.W.
