Mrs. Stella Kate Ludlam Elliott, 94, died Friday, July 18, 2003 at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native and former resident of Santa Rosa County, Fla. before moving to Bradley in 1926. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bradley Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Elliott Sr. and a son, James Henry Elliott Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Earl Elliott and Joe Elliott, both of Bradley; a daughter, Maxcine Black of Bradley; a daughter-in-law, Clara Frances Elliott of Brewton; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 21, at 2 p.m. at Bradley Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bennie Tolbert and Rev. Eddie Watson officiating. Burial followed at Bradley Church Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
