Master Emilio Ryan Rivera, 8, of Appleton Road, died suddenly Saturday, July 26, 2003 in a Pensacola Hospital. He was a native of Lakeland, Fla. and a former resident of Sylvania, Ga. before moving to Brewton three months ago. He was a third grade student and of the Assembly of God faith.
He is survived by his father, Chevy Rivera of Sylvania; his mother, Vaniessa Cain Rivera of Brewton; his grandparents, Roy and Renee Cain of Brewton, Ralphene and Alan Eshleman of Cantonment and Tivuricia and Fransisco Rivera of Mexico; two brothers, Ismael Rivera and Blanca Rivera and two two sisters, Michelle Miller and Aimee Miller.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 29, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Ray Biggs officiating. Burial followed at Cooper Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
