Ms. Hattie Esther Gray, 101, died Wednesday, July 29, 2003. She was a native of Escambia County and a resident of Florida for many years. She returned to Escambia County about eight years ago and had been living at a local nursing facility. She was a member of First Marietta Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Mable Gray and Emma Gray, both of Brewton; a sister-in-law, Mary Bell Gray of Pensacola and a host of others friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. at First Marietta Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Stallworth officiating. Burial followed in Mason Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
