The teams will face teams from Andalusia in the Pre-Season Bowl on September 6, according to McGraw.
The regular season games will be played at the same time, according to McGraw.
The East Brewton teams will face teams from Baker, Straughn, Florala, Red Level, Andalusia and Opp during the regular season play.
East Brewton placed in the Western Division of the Tri-County League play. Others in the division are Andalusia, Baker and Straughn. Opponents of Florala, Opp and Red Level are placed in the Eastern Division, according to officials.
Cheerleaders are also practicing to be ready to show team support and spirit during games. Three squads of cheerleaders are gearing up to help encourage the team they represent.
Cheerleader squads are full, however, for those boys still interested in playing, registration is still being taken. Players and cheerleaders can register during regular practice sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday beginning at 5 p.m. on the practice field in East Brewton. A copy of the player's birth certificate is needed along with a registration fee.
