The Brewton Middle School football team kicked off its season on Sept. 4 with a win over Century.
The team lost its second game of the season, to Carver, and has an open date this week. Play will resume on Thursday, Sept. 25 with a home contest against W.S. Neal at 6 p.m.
Other future games include road contests against Monroe County on Oct. 2, Andalusia on Oct. 7 and W.S. Neal on Oct. 21.
On Oct. 16, the team will play host to Escambia County. All games begin at 6 p.m.
