Mr. Orbie Leslie Little, 93, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003 at a Florida hospital. He was a native of Bratt, Fla. and a resident of Century since 1927. He was a retired employee of St. Regis after 27 years of service, a Postmaster of Bluff Springs Post Office for five and one half years and attended the Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Lee Little.
He is survived by his son, Edward L. Little of Byrneville, Fla.; a daughter, Annie Mae Renfroe of Pace, Fla.; a brother, Carl L. Little of Gretna, La.; four sisters, Julia Knowles, Hazel Meulean, Vera Taylor and Amanda Cherry, all of Pensacola; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m. at the Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Shelton Kindig officiating. Burial followed at Beulah Chapel Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Ricky Renfroe, Harold Knowles, Wade Hall, Paul Wilson, Carlton Knowles and Vic Neve.
