Mrs. Lillie Mae Nelson Waters, 94, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003 in a Gulf Breeze nursing facility. He was a native and long-time resident of East Brewton, a former resident of Navarre, Fla. and Gulf Breeze, Fla. She had worked at T.R. Miller Mill Co. and was a member of Cedar Hill Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Nelson and Fred Waters; a son, Mason Nelson; five sisters, Nan Grice, Bell Cobb, Lula McCurdy, Minnie McCurdy and Elmira Blair and a granddaughter.
She is survived by a son, Leroy Nelson of Navarre; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at Craver's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Coker officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
