Mrs. Anne Floyd Dunn, 63, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003 at her residence in Tupelo, Miss. after an extended illness. She was a native of Opp and a former resident of Evergreen. She was a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, La. and received her master's degree at the University of Mississippi School of Nursing at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. She was a long-time resident of Indianola, Miss. and served as a nursing instructor for 27 years with Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead, Miss. She also served as a medical advisor on malpractice cases for attorneys and insurance companies. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Indianola and various other organizations.
She is survived by two daughters, Selene Maddox of Tupelo and Lisa Dunn of Franklin, Tenn.; one son, Greg Dunn of Demopolis; two sisters, Delanith Donelson of Chipley, Fla. and Janice Malone of Blountstown, Fla.; one brother, Billy Floyd of Pearlington, Miss. and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m. at Oakhill Cemetery in Atmore with Rev. Don Davis officiating. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors and Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
