Mr. Steve Austin Green, age 26, of Castleberry, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14 at his home. Mr. Green was a native of Monroe County.
He is survived by his father, James Thomas "Tommy" Green of Castleberry; his mother, Carolyn Green of Evergreen; his brothers, Eugene (Connie) Green of East Brewton and Danny Thomas (Margaret) Green of Bayou La Batrie; his sister, Missy (B.J.) Davis of Monroeville; and three newphews, Nathan Davis and Conner Davis of Monroeville, and Kyle Green of Bayou La Batrie.
Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 16 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cope Funeral Home. Memorial services were held at Cope Funeral Home and interment was at Buffington Cemetary, Castleberry, on Friday, Oct. 17. Rev. Thomas Smith, Rev. Kenneth Johnson, and Rev. Hughie Denton officiated.
