The Brewton Police Department, the East Brewton Police Department and the Escambia County Sheriff's Office are planning to beef up security for the T.R. Miller-W.S. Neal playoff quarter-final football game Friday night.
The police are expecting about 5,000 people to be at the game, and they are asking that anything that might be used as a weapon be left at home. They are also asking that children brought to the game be kept off the track and under supervision.
The extra precautions will start Thursday night, and Lovelace said that those who are up to any mischief will be arrested.
