Mr. Charles Ray "Charlie" Morris, 76, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003 in a local hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Robertsdale and a long-time resident of Escambia County. He was a retired rural mail carrier, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of North Brewton Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Koberger Morris of Brewton; two daughters, Iris Crutchfield and Ingrid Jackson, both of Brewton; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at North Brewton Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at North Brewton Baptist Church with Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
