Mrs. Ouida Joyce Worrell Pate, 75, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003 at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Conecuh County. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and a retired Independent Sales Consultant from Home Interiors and Gifts with 28 years service.
She is survived by three sons, Joey Pate Jr. and Jerry Pate, both of Castleberry and Keith Pate of St. Augustine, Fla.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Godbee and Rev. Daniel Foshee officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
