Mrs. Martha Katherine Fitzgerald Pearson, 88, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003 in a Little Rock, Ark. nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Castleberry and a long time resident of Brewton before moving to Little Rock in 2000. She was a member of Brewton First United Methodist Church, retired accountant with 40 years service, member of the local Eastern Star Chapter and held previous national offices with the Easter Star.
She is survived by two sons, Robert "Bob" Pearson of Little Rock and Harold "Larry" Pearson of Harvard, Mass.; three sisters, Estelle Nicholson and Vivian Carree, both of Mobile and Elizabeth Parker of Brewton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
